Book release day!
What do a ruffled raven and a mercurial lord have in common?
Hey Foxes,
This will be a QUICK email, I promise!
Sorrow for Thorns is out in the world in all its angsty glory.
Plenty of adventure, magic, love, and romance… Brilliant and magical.
Goodreads Review
Read it now on Amazon! It’s a nice short one – I have it on good authority you can enjoy the whole thing in one sitting. And it’s in Kindle Unlimited.
Sorrow for Thorns does bring the angst, but it’s not all misery. Here’s a little snippet of levity:
One bird remains, perched on a railing near the skylight and reminding me rather sharply of Raphael standing stiffly by my bedroom window as I’d eaten soup. I chuckle, and the bird fixes me with a glare as it ruffles its feathers.
‘What is it?’ Raphael says from behind me, and I turn to find him standing by the window, also giving me a ruffled glare.
I can’t help it. Maybe it’s stress or maybe because I’ve done more crying than I like lately, or maybe it’s simply the funniest thing I’ve seen since I left the Guild on this doomed quest. I double over, laughing.
Arms come around me in seconds as Raphael holds me on my feet. ‘What’s so funny?’ he asks.
‘You,’ I gasp.
His hold stiffens. ‘What about me?’
‘You –’ I’m wheezing between words ‘– look like a grumpy raven.’
How does the mercurial Raphael respond to that? You’ll have to read it and find out!
All right, that’ll do. I’ll go carry on plotting my enemies-to-lovers Snow White. Have a wonderful week :)
Read and be weird,
Kel
