Hello Foxes,
Back again!
A quick one to let you know about The Year of Queer Lit book fair which is on today*, for one day only!
Pick up my whimsical gaslamp fantasy The Illusion of Fear for free alongside a host of other free/discounted queer books from all genres: romance, fantasy, mystery, thriller, YA, sci fi, paranormal, contemporary, historical – you name it. There’s even poetry.
*I presume ‘today’ in the US. Illusion is on sale in the US (99c elsewhere) until 23:59 on the 26th, PDT. Can’t speak for the rest, though. Wibbly wobbly timey wimey!
After his partner is killed on a mission gone wrong, disavowed spy and magician Del Fevre exiles himself to Acrusi, the only city in the world where his agency can't find him. But his plans for a peaceful hideaway where he can make illusion art and avoid awkward questions are thwarted when his arrival coincides with a mysterious art theft, and Del might be a suspect.
Danger, daring and a handsome detective conspire to make Del's exile anything but peaceful.
queer romance • emotion-based magic • banter • art crime • conspiracy • action & adventure • whimsical garden city
If you’ve read The Secrets We Save, this is a prequel story where Del and Santo first meet and forge their, ah, friendship ;)
Okay. It’s a Tuesday, so I won’t keep you. Back to the writing!
Happy reading,
Kel
